Barbara, I was a friend/classmate, of Anne's and I remember your Mom well. I spent lots of time at the house on Troupe Street with Billy, Anne, and your grandparents. Your Mom was already married at the time. I am sorry to have missed the service. I can't see very well any more and was afraid to attempt the trip to Lexington. You and all your family are in our prayers.....with love, Frances Buckley Maney

Your mom was a faithful woman & treasure to parishioners & priests @ St. John of the Cross Catholic Church. I can still envision her wearing a mantilla & praying the rosary while kneeling in "her pew" on the left side of the altar. She was Catholic Woman of the Year; worked tirelessly as treasurer of the ladies org.; cleaned the church as well as the altar linens with love; & had a sweet tinkling laughter that was contagious. I hold her in the utmost respect as an elder of our church. She shared orchids grown behind their home & sweet scuppernong wine your daddy made. She was proud of Regina & we prayed for healing of her heart. I considered your mom a positive role model as a business woman, always smartly dressed, & ahead of her time. I’m sorry for your loss. Please know she made a positive difference in many quiet ways, of which I am one. Love

Dear Pat, Barbara & Family,
We were so sad to read of Minnie's passing this morning. She was a wonderful person and the best neighbor and friend a person could have asked for. We were so blessed by having her in our lives.
I'm sorry that we will not be able to be there for her service. We will be out of town. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With our love,
David & Linda Harris
