I wanted to say thank you so very much for all of your thoughtful messages. David was a wonderful man and we were all very lucky to have had him in our lifes. He always had a joke and a smile for everyone. It took me and him 40 years to find each other and I had wished for 40 more. I love him with all my heart and he will always be with me and all of us.

I have known David since I came to work in the District in the early nineties. I was very shocked and sad to hear of his passing.
