Services for Wyman Darnell Long, 65, will be held at 3:00 pm Monday July 26, 2010, at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Gary Brandenburg and Rev. Norman Deal. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1247 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, SC 29063. Mr. Long died Saturday, July 24, 2010 after a brief illness. Born in Lexington County, he was the son of the late Drayton Johnnie and Eva Mae Rawl Long. He was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, the SCAT Auto Club and was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Surviving are his special friend Olga Uriarte, daughters, Dianna Pressley (Chris), and Patricia Mae Gubi of Gilbert, sister, Diane Bouknight (Tony) of Leesville, grandchildren, Crystal and Matthew Pressley, and Katrina Gubi. He was predeceased by a brother, Rembert Long.
