Services for MSGT Robert Glenn Weaver (Ret) Army 78, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Russ Stilwell officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Born in San Pedro, CA he was the son of the late Charles Vere and Marjorie Bishop Weaver. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, a Life-Time member of VFW Post 6470 where he served two terms as Post Commander, and retired from the US Army with 25 years of service, serving in Korea and one tour in Vietnam, and 3 tours in Germany.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Smith Weaver; daughter, Sherry Weaver of Gulf Shores, AL; sister, Dorothy Farnell of Bon Secour, AL. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Farnell.
