Services for Dorothy Ouzts Bryant, 86, will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at East Side Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Memorials may be made to East Side Baptist Church, 325 Mill St. B-L SC 29006.
Mrs. Bryant passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010. Born in Saluda County a daughter of the late Charlie T. and Nellie Mae Ouzts. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church and retired from textiles.
Surviving are a son, Roger Walton Bryant (Karen) of Irmo; daughters, Cynthia B. Williams of West Columbia and June B. Bellamy (John) of Tocca, GA; brothers, Ray and Wayne Ouzts, both of Greenwood, Philip Ouzts of Winter Park, FL; sisters, Naomi Wells of Greenwood and Janice Wells of Ninety-Six; grandchildren, Whitney W. Moore (Chris), Kelli Williams, Lauren McCann (Ryan), Brandon Bellamy (Christy) , Chris Johnson (Emily), and Keenan Johnson (Tara); great-grandchildren, Katherine, Andrew, and John Ryan McCann, Brooks and Brendan Bellamy, and Coleman Johnson.
She was predeceased by her husband Walton A. Bryant.
The family wishes to thank the Staffs of Ascension Hospice and Agape Assisted Living Harbison for their love and care during Mother's illness.
