Graveside services for Dorothy Timmons Walton Thrailkill, 96, will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in Batesburg Cemetery. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to St. John's UMC, 513 West Church St., B-L, SC 29006. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Thrailkill died Sunday March 7, 2010. Born in Elgin, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson Davis and Emmie Magruda Timmons. She was a member of St. John's UMC, the Adult SS Class and retired from Bankers Trust.
Surviving are a son, Stanley W. Walton of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Gibb Walton of Hickory, NC; grandchildren, Stanley, Jr., Robert, Claire, Billy, and Kristen Walton, Dana Ndegwa, and Beth Kiesling. She was predeceased by husbands, Stanley W. Walton, Sr. and Robert O. Thrailkill and a son, William T. Walton. The family would like to that the Staffs of Harmony Hospice and Generations of B-L for their loving care during Mother's illness.
